Inspired from the streets of Shinjuku, Tokyo comes a street food to savour the minds, hearts and palettes of the weary. BrandWorks was invited to design the first concept store located at Westfield Doncaster. Providing a visually striking and eye catching store front was key to the brief. The use of channeled concrete panels, overhead beams, striking LED and linen cloth materials provided a visual connection with the alleys lined with yakatori bars from Shinjuku.

BrandWorks was engaged to design, from the floor plan, wireframes, 3D renders, finishes, material and furniture selection and in-store graphics package. The highlight? There’s a Japanese vending machine in the seating area filled with Pocky candy, drinks and treats.
